Janson Bridging JSK-units are designed to carry Heavy Plant and Site Equipment and are therefore very suitable for use on construction sites. These units can also be used for temporary overbridges or for permanent applications wherever short span bridges for all general traffic is required.

Each unit has a width of 1.50 metres. By joining the units side to side, road widths in multiples of 1.50 metres can be achieved. The outside units are mounted with parapets and kerbs. The low profile of the bridge allows it to be used for overbridges where depth is to be kept at a minimum.

The ease of coupling these units together makes for simple and fast erection and dismantling, which is usually done by the contractor. Supervisory assistance can be provided if required.

The JSK system is available in 2 types

The JSK Mk I systemcomprises of modular beam sections with an effective deck width of 1.5m with lengths of 10,5m, 13,5m, 15,7m and 16,5m. The depth is 450mm.

The JSK Mk II system comprises of modular beam sections with an effective deck width of 1.5m with lengths of 6m and 9m. The depth is 300mm.
